Fluxpoint Fabrication

Privacy Policy

How Fluxpoint Fabrication handles information submitted through this website and during quoting or customer contact.

Effective 23 September 2026 · Version 1.5

1 Who we are

Fluxpoint Fabrication is operated by Nathan Micallef-Grimaud as a sole trader under ABN 58 225 016 433. Privacy enquiries may be sent to nathan@fluxpointfabrication.com.au.

2 Information we collect

We may collect information that you provide through the quote form, by email, by telephone or during a project. This may include:

  • your name, business name, email address, telephone number and suburb
  • project descriptions, required timeframes, intended use and delivery or collection details
  • drawings, CAD files, sketches, photographs, specifications and other attachments
  • quotation, acceptance, payment-status, project, delivery, warranty and complaint records
  • correspondence and any information needed to identify, quote or perform the requested work
  • basic website and device information, such as IP address, browser details, security logs and cookie information, where this website's provider or enabled analytics tools collect it

3 Why we use information

We use information to assess enquiries, prepare and revise quotations, communicate about projects, carry out accepted work, arrange freight or collection, keep business and tax records, manage complaints or warranty matters, protect this website and the business from misuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

4 Quote form and email delivery

Submitting the form on this website sends the information and attachments to Fluxpoint Fabrication by email. Fluxpoint does not intend to keep a separate customer-enquiry copy in a website database. Website hosting, form-delivery, spam-prevention and email providers may nevertheless process the submission and keep technical, security or delivery records under their own terms. Information that reaches Fluxpoint's mailbox is retained and handled as an email and business record.

5 Who may receive information

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

  • website hosting, form-delivery, email, file-storage, security and business-system providers
  • suppliers, subcontract processors and freight providers involved in pricing or performing an accepted job, limited to the information they need
  • accountants, insurers, professional advisers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or courts where authorised or required
  • another party with your consent or at your direction

Customer drawings and commercially sensitive project information are not published for marketing without express permission.

6 Overseas processing

Some technology providers may process or store data outside Australia. The countries involved depend on the providers and account settings used at the time. Where reasonably practicable, Fluxpoint uses reputable providers and account security settings suited to the information handled. You may contact Fluxpoint if you want more detail about the providers used for a particular submission.

7 Retention

Unsuccessful quote enquiries are generally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted where reasonably practicable. If an enquiry becomes a job, relevant quotation, contract, payment, production, delivery, warranty and dispute records may be kept for the period reasonably required for business, tax, insurance and legal purposes. Information may be kept longer where a dispute, safety issue, legal hold or other lawful reason requires it.

8 Security

Fluxpoint takes reasonable steps suited to a small business to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, change or disclosure. Measures may include access controls, multi-factor authentication, software updates and limiting disclosure. No online transmission or storage system is completely secure, so do not send unnecessary sensitive information through the form.

9 Access, correction and complaints

You may ask what personal information Fluxpoint holds about you, request correction, or raise a privacy concern by emailing nathan@fluxpointfabrication.com.au. Fluxpoint will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity. Access may be limited where the law permits or another person's privacy would be affected.

10 Cookies, analytics and external links

This website uses a Google Ads tag, with your choice, to measure visits and quote enquiries after advertising. If you accept, Google may collect device, browser and visit information and use cookies or similar technologies for measurement. The tag is not loaded if you decline. Your choice is saved in this browser's local storage. You can change it by clearing this site's browser storage and selecting again. Essential technologies may still be used for security and operation. External websites linked from this website operate under their own privacy practices.
