Fluxpoint Fabrication

Shipping, Delivery and Collection Policy

Terms for freight, delivery, collection, loading, transit issues and uncollected goods.

Effective 23 September 2026 · Version 1.5

1 Available arrangements

The accepted quotation states whether the job is for collection, delivery arranged by Fluxpoint, or freight arranged by the customer. Some items require an individual freight quotation because of their size, mass, destination or unloading requirements. Fluxpoint does not include installation, fitting or site unloading unless the quotation expressly says so.

2 Delivery information and access

The customer must provide an accurate delivery address, contact details, access restrictions and information about safe unloading. Unless unloading is included, the customer must provide suitable people, equipment and access to unload the goods safely. Reasonable redelivery, waiting or carrier costs caused by incorrect information, absence or unsuitable access may be charged only where permitted by law and after the basis and likely amount of the charge are explained.

3 Timing

Manufacturing, dispatch and freight dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Fluxpoint will communicate material delays when reasonably practicable. Carrier delays outside Fluxpoint's reasonable control are addressed consistently with the accepted quotation. Nothing in this policy removes any right to cancel, obtain a refund or seek another remedy that applies because of a material delay or under a law that cannot be excluded.

4 Transit damage

Inspect delivered goods as soon as reasonably practicable. Report visible damage promptly and keep packaging and photographs where possible. Prompt reporting helps Fluxpoint deal with the carrier but does not remove rights relating to concealed damage or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5 Collection

Collection is by arrangement after Fluxpoint confirms that the order is ready. The customer or their representative must bring a suitable vehicle, restraints and loading method. Fluxpoint may refuse or pause an unsafe loading arrangement. Responsibility for securing the load after handover rests with the person transporting it, subject to any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6 Visiting the collection location

Visitors must follow reasonable safety directions, remain in designated customer areas, wear any required personal protective equipment and not enter a workshop area or operate equipment without permission. Fluxpoint may restrict access where reasonably necessary for safety.

7 Risk and customer-arranged carriers

Risk is allocated under the accepted quotation and the Terms and Conditions of Trade. If the customer independently appoints a carrier, responsibility for accidental loss or damage ordinarily passes when the goods are handed to that carrier, subject to mandatory law. If Fluxpoint arranges the carrier, Fluxpoint remains responsible for the goods until delivery to the agreed destination to the extent required by the contract and applicable law.

8 Uncollected goods

If goods are not collected within the agreed time, Fluxpoint may charge reasonable storage costs after notice. Fluxpoint will deal with uncollected goods only in accordance with applicable Victorian law, including any required notice, valuation, waiting-period, sale or disposal process. Nothing in this policy authorises immediate disposal.
